Right so. I needed that number for a totally different thing, but now I'm a little concerned that I might need it for something else. A detective came by to see me at the bar, Tomas. Told me she'll get me some postcards to send to people while I'm in PRISON. Who. In. The. Fuck.
It was safe to say she was far more shaken up by Cadence's line of questioning than she'd lead the woman to believe. So much in fact, this text was sent while she sat in the dark outside of her trailer, smoking the cigarettes she only allowed herself to have when her nerves had gotten the better of her. Right now? She was close to cracking. This was all too much.
And that was dangerous.
