Town: Monroe County Sheriff's are responding to multiple calls about robberies in south and mid Marathon. Reports coming have been made from the Sea Dell Motel, Highway Diner, Lucky's Barber Shop, and several private residences. Most have been empty at the time, but there were two reported instances of homeowners coming in on the robberies in place, resulting in injury. Cash, jewelry, documents, electronics, and a barber's chair have been among the items reported stolen.
