Friday Night - Beach Bash with best beach body contest. Men and women can enter, winner for each will receive 200 dollar AmEx gift card. Sponsored by local beachwear stores. There will be a live DJ and dancing.
Saturday - Micro Brewery contest - guests (of legal drinking age) can buy tickets that allow samples of all participants brews. Winner declared by public vote. Winner gets mention in local news, ability to claim Best of Marathon Beach 2016 Winner, and ability to stock their brew at The Dive for one year. Contract renewable upon proven sales performance at discretion of Dive ownership.
Small carnival with rides, midway games, and such ongoing through the day.
Sunday - Local Artisan’s Show featuring only local artists and their work. Biggest Catch (and release) fishing contest, and DJ Battle of Dominance with dancing under the stars on the beach.
Carnival Continues
Monday - Remembrance Ceremony for fallen Soldiers. Carnival and live music continues through the day, and the weekend ends with the VIP Party to Benefit Wounded Warriors Project and fund to create a Fallen Soldier’s Memorial that will have the names of Marthon’s own who have fallen during war time - hosted at The Dive, catered by the dive with live music, dancing, and the whole socializing things. $50 per head, or $75 for a couple, all proceeds to go to the two charity funds.
