Rules - We'd really rather not have to set down rules and regulations. Just don't be assholes to each other, keep your OOC out of your IC and vice versa, talk things out like adults and BE ACTIVE. Love love love activity. Totally understand that real life comes first, so we're not gonna hound ya, but if you want to keep playing in the storyline and aren't going to be around much, give us a heads up. Same with any kind of leave of absence. A lot of SL's like to keep people on the site, even after it's clear they aren't going playing - I'm not one of those mods. If I see no IC activity from you after a period of two weeks, your char will be removed from the SL. No hard feelings! Easy peasy.
Logs - You are not required to post a log on this message board, but it is strongly encouraged. Please posts logs that are pertinent to the sl as a whole, not necessarily just your char and another ( ie, leave your sexy times private, people! ). If you choose not to log SL logs, please please please, email a mod with at least a summary of what happened so that it can be posted as an update.
Play - The majority of the play does happen at night, though members are encouraged to open up rooms whenever they feel. Simply put FK at the end of the room name. IC play happens heavily at the Dive, but all locations in Marathon are acceptable.
Multiple Characters - At this time we are accepting applications for two ( 2 ) max characters per mun.
Crime and Violence - This is a crime based SL, not Mayberry. Things will get sticky, things will get bloody. Combat direction will be based on situation, whether it is turn based logic, or a simple d10 roll. Do not god mod. Some characters are stronger than others, some faster than others, some more agile than others. Pay attention to attacks, and responding realistic and accordingly. Remember that you can't control the reactions of other characters, negative or positive, and keep discussions OOC about attacks to gathering information, not complaints.
Character Injury and Death - Never ever ever will we kill off a character that belongs to a member without EXPRESS permission. Neither will we maim or cripple. However, injuries and near-deaths will all be determined by your own actions, or discussed before hand by a mod.
