Molly Moore is the affluent daughter of David Moore, Senior V.P. of operations at BP. Due to this, she has had every opportunity to grow and thrive though her father, himself a self proclaimed "self made man", deigned that she would also learn to appreciate the privileges and luxury afforded to her. She was sent to the Hurtwood House, one of the most prestigious boarding schools in the world to be groomed to follow her in father's footsteps. She showed promise, an ability to lead and compete in a corporate environment and even thrive. She also showed a talent for the arts in that she is a concert level pianist and though she denies it publicly for unknown reasons, it has been reported that she is a talented cook.

Once she graduated from business school and earned her SORP which allowed her to practice accounting and a CPA that allowed her to practice in the U.S., she got an IDP (international driver's permit) and convinced daddy to let her go state side. Despite her already promising career, the girl had a reputation for having a wild side and a party gooer. This meant she also had a talent for getting into trouble. So when his daughter said she wanted to go to Miami, David looked for a nearby city that could offer her the opportunity to stay out of trouble while still being close enough to make his daughter happy. Marathon seemed like an out of the way, safe haven, right?
