A small Styrofoam cooler was left at the reception desk of the Blue Reef, addressed to Mr. Murdock. Enclosed in the ice filled container was a pair of Wagyu beef 6oz filets wrapped in parchment, along with a neon green envelop taped to the inside of the lid.
The letter reads:
Dear Mr. Murdock, on behalf of the Diaz family and all of us here at Fish Tales Eatery, we would like to welcome you to the City of Marathon. Please accept these Pasture Prime (a locally sourced ranch from right here in Florida) cuts of Wagyu beef filets. Our recommendation is that each cut be seasoned with just a sprinkle of sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper and served with a Cabernet sauvignon. While we respect that the Blue Reef Resort and Casino might be far to big of an account for us to handle, we hope you consider us for any personal needs that you might have when it comes to dining on the best quality meats in the sunshine state.
